Warden Message 6/8/2007 - Change in Emergency Number for Americans

Beginning Tuesday June 12, the U.S. Consulate General’s emergency direct line to the American Citizen Services Unit will change to (212) 22 26 71 51.  This number is reserved for American citizens experiencing emergencies and is available during business hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Moroccan and American holidays.  Americans experiencing a medical or other emergency, or reporting the arrest or death of a U.S. Citizen should use this number.  If such an emergency occurs outside of normal business hours, American citizens may call the U.S. Embassy, Rabat’s Duty Officer at (212) 6113 19 39 or the U.S. Consulate General, Casablanca’s Duty Officer at (212) 61 17 23 67. 

Information about routine services, such as applications for a U.S. passport or report of birth of an American citizen abroad, should be directed to our e-mail address acscasablanca@state.gov.   You may also find it helpful to refer to our website, http://casablanca.usconsulate.gov/us_citizen_service.html for general information about a variety of routine services.
