General Information
The U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca, Morocco, provides consular services to all U.S. citizens visiting or resident in Morocco.
The U.S. Consulate General is open to U.S. citizens for routine consular services from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, excluding U.S. and Moroccan holidays.
Please Note: If you have a question regarding an immigrant or nonimmigrant visa case, please send an email to ivcasablanca@state.gov or nivcasablanca@state.gov. American Citizen Services hours are for non-visa matters and our office is unable to answer questions regarding visas. If you are seeking a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, please note that this service may be time consuming and you may need to return to the Consulate at another time to complete the process.

WARDEN MESSAGE - JULY 4TH PARTY INVITATION, JUNE 4
This Warden Message invites U.S. citizens living in Morocco to a traditional Independence Day Celebration to be held in Rabat on July 4, 2009 from 11am – 5pm.
U.S. citizens are invited to the Rabat American School to swim, play softball and enjoy American food. The school has closed for the day to accommodate this private party. Food – traditional hamburgers and hotdogs – will be sold as will drinks and sweets. You are welcome to bring your own food if you prefer. There will be no alcohol sold or consumed on the school property. Anyone found with alcohol will be asked to leave.
You need to register by June 27th if you plan to attend. Email your RSVP including the names and passport numbers of all those attending to July4thRSVP@hotmail.com. You will receive a reply to your RSVP giving more details about the event. U.S. citizens may bring one guest. Include his/her name in the RSVP. This party can accommodate a limited number so respond soon.
The Rabat American School is located in Agdal at 1 Bis Rue Emir Ibn Abdelkader – not far from the Agdal train station. We will use the school’s back gate as entrance for the event. All guests are subject to search before gaining entrance.
Be sure to bring your swimsuit and sports equipment. Softball fields and parking lot basketball courts will be open. A playground is available for the youngsters.
Don’t forget to RSVP! Bring your US Passport on July 4th for identification.

Warden Message - Moroccan Labor Day, April 30
Due to the Labor Day holiday in Morocco, the US Embassy and Consulate General will be closed on Friday May 1, 2009. Official sources have indicated that there will be marches sponsored by various labor parties in different parts of Morocco. The largest marches are expected to be in Rabat and Casablanca.
As a result, we have received notification that the avenues and streets listed below will be closed for traffic from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Other roads may also be closed in other parts of these cities or other parts of Morocco. Please be aware of your surroundings and look out for indications of road closures or demonstrations. We advise you to avoid the following areas during the time period noted above:
Rabat: Bab El Had Downtown, Avenue Hassan II, Avenue Mohamed V, Post Office Square, Parliament, Train Station Square, Place Alaouine, Avenue Moulay Youssef, Bab Rouah Gate, Avenue Ennasr to Akkari Square.
Casablanca: Avenue Hassan II, Avenue des FAR, Avenue Almohades, Avenue Mohamd V, Avenue Driss Hrizi, Derb Omar, Sahat Ennasr (Ennasr Square), Place des Nations (Nations Square: Hyatt Regency, Royal Mansour).

Warden message - swine flu 4/29/2009
In light of the outbreak and continuing spread of swine influenza, the Consular Section of the U.S. Consulate in Casablanca provides the following information for our registrants. Please note that while there have not yet been any reports of this virus in Morocco, there has been one confirmed case in Spain, with no deaths.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended on April 27, 2009 that U.S. citizens defer all nonessential travel to Mexico because of the outbreak of H1N1 “swine” influenza. The CDC Travel Notice which advises U.S. citizens of the health risks that may be involved with travel to Mexico and provides a list of precautions travelers can take to reduce their risk of infection, can be found at the CDC website at http://www.cdc.gov/travel/contentSwineFluMexico.aspx.
