Registration of American Citizens with the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca

U.S. citizen residents in Morocco and U.S. citizen tourists who plan to visit Morocco are encouraged to register their presence in Morocco. U.S. citizen residents may register via the U.S. Department of State's Internet-Based Registration Service, which provides the data directly to our databases, or in person at the U.S. Consulate General.  Please be sure to provide your name, date and place of birth, passport number, itinerary or place of residence, and points of contacts in the U.S. and Morocco. PLEASE NOTE: We no longer accept telephone, email or fax registration.  

The U.S. Consulate General's primary means of communication with U.S. citizens in Morocco during an emergency is our warden system. The warden system distributes Warden Messages and Travel Alerts through email and sms messaging. In addition, information is disseminated by U.S. citizens who volunteer to distribute messages from the U.S. Consulate Genearl to other U.S. citizens in Morocco. The warden system is used to communicate both emergency and non-emergency information of interest to U.S. citizens.

The U.S. Embassy is located at 2 Avenue de Marrakech in the capital city of Rabat, telephone (212)(37) 76-22-65. The U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca is located at 8 Boulevard Moulay Youssef, telephone (212)(22) 26-45-50. Please note that all consular matters are handled at the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca. The U.S. Consulate General's workweek is Monday to Friday. The U.S. Consulate General is open for American Citizen Services between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, excluding U.S. and Moroccan holidays.
