Immigrant Visa Interview Appointments

When a petition is filed with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) in the United States, all processing is done by the National Visa Center (NVC). In these cases, NVC will notify the applicant of the date of the appointment. An earlier date cannot be arranged by the U.S. Consulate General.

For the Diversity Visa (DV) lottery, all processing is performed by the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). KCC will notify each DV winner of the date of the appointment. The U.S. Consulate General cannot arrange initial appointments for DV applicants.
